Riding Attire:

Students will dress in proper riding attire appropriate to the weather consisting of:

  • Long Pants: Breeches, leggings, joggers, sweatpants, or riding tights. No jeans, denim, slacks or lounge pants.

  • Fitted/Semi Fitted Shirt with sleeves: Loose or billowing clothing is not permitted for riding as it can pose a safety risk.

Helmets are available to borrow for the lesson, but purchasing your own is highly suggested. We are happy to offer suggestions or check out our Helpful Reads page for what to look for when choosing a helmet.

  • Weather appropriate accessories: Jackets and coats should be fitted and without excess zippers, buckles and buttons. Jackets and coats cannot sit below riders hips. Students can wear gloves, ear warmers, beanies, and/or neck gaiters as needed. Gloves must be slim and fitted to hands. Beanies must fit under a helmet without impeding the proper wear of the helmet.
